Stephen helps with ocean programs. He works primarily on the WOC’s Ocean Policy and Governance Platform, with a particular focus on the ongoing UN negotiations on Biodiversity in Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) and the WOC’s Sustainable Development Goals initiative.
Stephen previously worked in Environmental Conservation for the U.S. National Park Service and the Trustees of Reservations. In addition to his work for the WOC, he works on environmental education for the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Stephen is a graduate of Gettysburg College, where he completed a triple-major in Political Science, Latin American Studies and Spanish.
